Mike and I are joining a softball league that starts next Friday. We’ll be playing on a team with some of the friends we’ve made through church. I’m really looking forward to it! I haven’t played any team sports in forever and I think it’ll be a lot of fun. I’m a little nervous though as I have weakling arms and can’t throw at all. I’m not sure if I can really hit either. I can stand in the outfield though! =) I hope our team isn’t too serious, or I might not make the cut!
We have to buy softball gloves so I’ve been doing a little research online. I have no idea what to look for though. We don’t need anything super fancy because we’re obviously not serious players. I do want something that won’t fall apart though, because if it’s fun I’m sure we’ll play again at some point. We have a Play it Again Sports right by our house that I’m thinking would be good to check out, or Craigslist. We’ll see!
